To clear a couple of things up
The AOL chat session was unearthed on the Eminem sub reddit on a handful of occasions and is generally believed to be legit by the members of the reddit due to mentioning several things that was not public knowledge in 1998 such as Em marrying Kim, his ongoing beef with Proof which was
confirmed by Royce Da 5’9’’ and that Guilty Conscience was originally called ‘Night and Day’. If this was not legit, it would have to be someone very close to Em as he was not a household name at that point.

There have also been comments around the interview with Swedish Hip Hop journalist Mats Nileskar and the validity of the audio. I reached out to the station and the producers of the show called ‘P3 Soul’ and the forums of the radio station to help verify the interview and was told the following:
"Mats Nileskär, the creator and host of P3 Soul, has been running the show since 1978 and is probably one of the worlds most respected journalists when it comes to hiphop. He has received plenty of awards and is in hip-hop circles considered extremely, extremely knowledgeable.

Mats is internationally acclaimed and has interviewed pretty much every name on the hip-hop, soul and jazz-scenes. The interview with Eminem is from 1999, a time when AI did not exist in the way it exists today. So that the interview would be AI-generated is of course completely false."
