The sport car top carriers from Rightline Gear come in four different sizes: 9, 12, 15, and 18 cubic feet so there's one to fit any vehicle on the road. They're all aerodynamically designed to slice the wind so you'll save money at the gas pump, and they're all 100 percent waterproof.

This black material here is nylon reinforced PVC, and the gray material is PVC backed polyester. We make the seam for these two materials by first sewing them together for strength, and then welding them together along the same line to make that seam waterproof. We call it "Dual Seam Technology".


The bags also feature what we call "The Zip Right System" which is a urethane coated zipper on the flap of the bag, not the crease where water is prone to go into car top bags. With this construction, we've eliminated any water concern that you'd have whatsoever.

The sport carriers can attach to your vehicle in one of three ways. First, with the roof rack. The standard straps that come with the carrier can attach to the roof rack side rails, crossbars, or both. Secondly, without a roof rack, you can run those same standard straps through the vehicle and over top of the carrier to hold it down in place.

Thirdly, also without a roof rack, you can add the Rightline Gear car clips to the end of those standard straps. These car clips will clip into the open door of the vehicle, in most cases behind the rubber weather molding, go over top the carrier, clip on the other side, and the bag is held in place that way.

In the last two options, the door of the vehicle shuts over the strap and you're ready to go. The car clips come standard with the Sport Jr. Carrier and are purchased separately with all the other sport carriers.

The sport carriers come with a full color setup guide which describes the three attachment methods. The setup guide is located in a stuff sack which will hold even the largest sport carrier.
