In particular, we're comparing late 2019 to early 2024, which is about 4.5 years later.

In this video I'm comparing the cost of a basket of groceries in Mexico from 2019 to the same exact basket of groceries in 2024.

As part of this comparison, we're going to see how the price changes compare to the inflation statistics that the Mexican government gives us each year.

In addition to the cost of groceries, we're also going to look into the cost of eating out by comparing menu prices from 2019 to the menu prices today.
