The 1984 “Ghostbusters” film is simply described as a movie about three parapsychologists who are forced out of their university funding, and set up shop as a unique ghost removal service in New York City. That business attracted frightened yet skeptical customers. That movie attracted young viewers like me who grew up in the 80s and would be responsible for making the cinematic masterpiece both iconic and revered. Join my adventure around The Big Apple to a few of the film locations where Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, and Egon Spengler left their mark. I didn't see Slimer but I did see the firehouse headquarters, “Spook Central”, and more!!
“Ghostbusters” is one of my all-time favorite movies. This adventure has been on my bucket list for years and I'm happy to share the experience with you (filmed August 7-10, 2025). This video is also a great visual reference tool if you are planning a visit to The Big Apple. ...Just a few places I've been.
