In less than three weeks, the White House's East Wing ballroom construction will once again be at the center of arguments in a federal court.
The National Trust for Historic Preservation, which is the private nonprofit preservationist group tasked by Congress to preserve historic sites and buildings, is suing the president to try and halt the project, with the next hearing scheduled for January 15.
