Описание: The 1988 German Touring Car Championship was the fifth season of the DTM. The second race took place on April 24, 1988 at the Hockenheimring. Commentary: Helmut G. Müller. A total of 24 races were held in Germany, Belgium, Austria and, for the first time, in Czechoslovakia and Hungary. As an innovation compared to previous DTM years, two races were held on each of the 12 race weekends.
