A significant winter storm is impacting many regions across the country. In Michigan, the storm has brought freezing rain, heavy snow, and even reports of thundersnow. The ice and snow caused numerous accidents and slide-offs from the poor road conditions. Additionally, periods of very heavy snow were impacting the region bringing visibility to near zero. The worst of the travel impacts in the Mid-Michigan region were along I-75 and US-10.
