The E-Forum on Friday, February 13th, 2026 was a conversation with investors and funds from across the state. Hear from these funds about what they look for in investments, goals for the funds, and about Vermont companies that have received investments.

Vermont Seed Capital - VCET: VCET makes early-stage investments into Vermont-based teams and companies. Our aim each year is to make a few select investments into undeniable founders who are offering a specific insight within inevitable markets.

Red Clover Venture Partners: "Seeding the next generation of female founders." Red Clover Venture Partners is an impact fund focused on investing in women-founded and women-led businesses.

Green Mountain Accelerator Fund - Center on Rural Innovation: The Green Mountain Accelerator Fund, created by the Center on Rural Innovation in partnership with the Vermont Economic Development Authority, supports scalable entrepreneurship and tech job creation in rural Vermont by investing in early-stage tech startups. This capital fund only invests in Vermont startups that operate outside of Chittenden County, and is currently seeking opportunities to support scalable tech startups that meet the investment criteria.

Flexible Capital Fund, L3C: The Flexible Capital Fund (Flex Fund) is an impact fund providing patient risk capital in the form of revenue-based financing to growing New England-based companies in the food, forestry and clean technology sectors. Revenue based financing (RBF) is repaid based on a company's revenue stream instead of selling ownership. RBF allows for flexible repayment that adjusts to a growth company’s actual revenue, and offers a “natural” way to exit the deal.
