Описание: Peter is granted a revelation from the God of creation by which he could then say to Jesus, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God" (Matthew 16:17). This revelation is not given to all, which explains why many refuse to see Jesus as the king. John Calvin said something similar, though his perspective fell short of how God reveals and how God conceals (and to whom he does such and why he does it)--which branched into many erroneous conclusions and Biblical applications. Let the Bible here speak for itself.
