This webinar will bring together experienced clinical academics to explore real-world pathways to securing pain research funding and delivering research to improve patients experience of pain. Chaired by Professor Michelle Briggs, the session will highlight opportunities available through the Pain Relief Foundation and NIHR, featuring case studies from nursing, pharmacy and physiotherapy perspectives. Speakers Dr Neetu Bansal, Dr Sue Hartup and Dr Selina Johnson will share their journeys from clinical roles to successful research careers, offering insights into funding applications, project development, and the impact of funded pain research. This session is ideal for clinicians, early career researchers, and anyone interested in advancing pain research through funded opportunities.
