The 1920s, 30s & 40s were seminal decades in the progression of music genres. Within the span of thirty years, several important genres were established, such as ragtime of the 1920s, swing of the 1930s, and big band of the 1940s. Throughout this era, genres like jazz and broadway were also experiencing new experimentation and interpretation. Many k-pop songs take inspiration from genres such as jazz and swing, and I've compiled a list of 30 examples.
