After Imam Shafi'i رحمة الله عليه passed away, someone saw him in a dream and asked:
“O Imam! How did Allah grant you such a high status and so much forgiveness? 🤔✨”
Imam Shafi'i replied:
“This is all because of the special Durood I used to recite a lot — especially on Friday nights I would read five particular Duroods with great love ❤️📿”
He also said:
Whoever recites Durood frequently, Allah forgives his sins 😇
It becomes a light for the heart 🌙
It is mercy for the living and the deceased 🤲
It removes worries and brings barakah in life 🌸
His mother (or a pious woman) also saw him in a dream, and he told her:
“Tell everyone — keep sending Durood on me! This is what raised my ranks and opened the doors of Jannah for me! 🚪🌴”
So never underestimate the power of sending salutations on our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ 💚
