《战台风》Battling the Typhoon | Xinmin Secondary School Guzheng Ensemble, 2020 | Lenses Law

Описание: As part of Xinmin Secondary School's 75th Anniversary and biennial performing arts Co-curricular Activities (CCAs) group showcase, a string of Xinthesis VII (2020) performances, consisting of the Xinmin Chinese Dance Troupe, Dikir Barat and Xinmin Guzheng Ensemble, was originally scheduled to hold their performances in the Reflections Theatre, Creative Arts Complex, in March/April 2020.

However, due to the evolving COVID-19 situation, the plan was cancelled and a contingency plan of video-taping the performances with no audience was developed. Just before the plan could be executed, the Singapore Ministry of Education made an announcement for all CCAs to be suspended after the March school holidays. Upholding the spirit of "attitude determines altitude", Xinmin Guzheng Ensemble requested for their performances to be quickly filmed by Lenses Law Productions before the situation worsens. Fortunately, we managed to film most of the performances just before the suspension of CCAs kicks in, which explains how the recordings are uploaded here, with Guzheng being the only CCA with their performances recorded.
