ABOUT IBTC Innovation Business Technology College (IBTC) is a project whose mission is to be an outstanding college offering and teaching short courses based on short-term trainings and audio-visual production. We offer short-term trainings, which cover filmmaking, graphic design and web design, and we produce audio-visual products dealing with the art and practice of planning and projecting ideas and experiences with visual and textual content. Generally, before establishing IBTC, there was a problem of lacking a training and production center, which could offer digital and audio-visual skills in East African region. To solve this problem, we introduced Innovation Business Technology College (IBTC) Film and design school in Rwanda and Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). IBTC Film and design school was established with the following objectives: *Firstly, IBTC Film and Design school intends to produce the professionals availing them with high practical knowledge about Audio-visual practices. *Secondary, IBTC aims at providing audio-visual skills and services in short term and at minimized costs to its clients and beneficiaries. *Thirdly, IBTC aims at improving social welfare of its clients, their family members and community as whole by enhancing job creation among the clients. To achieve all the objectives above, IBTC employed programs that are based on quick practice to avoid the unnecessary costs and unrelated requirements. This is done in order to fully reach the ongoing impacts. Throughout filmmaking, we offer an intensive introduction of the practical art of filmmaking, from directing to producing, to editing and to screenwriting. Considered among the best film schools in the great lakes of Africa, IBTC Film and design school prides itself on offering hands-on film making programs that uniquely prepare students for the challenges of the film industry. In graphic design, we deal with Photography, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe illustrator and Adobe InDesign. In web design, we deal with website development, website within CMS and website languages.
