三重県明和町にある「いつきのみや歴史体験館」は、かつて天皇の姉妹や娘である皇女“斎王（さいおう）”が、伊勢神宮へ奉仕に向かう前に暮らしていた「斎宮」の跡地に建てられた歴史体験施設です。

今回Lisaは、1000年以上前の宮廷女性がまとう伝統衣装「十二単（じゅうにひとえ）」の本格的な着付け体験に挑戦。前衣紋者と後衣紋者の2人によって行われる正式な着付けは、平安時代の所作と美しさを今に伝えます。

さらに今回は、総ヒノキ製で約10万円相当の特別な扇を特別にお借りし、華やかさが一層引き立ちました（通常は一般公開されていない貴重な品です）。

館内では、平安時代の遊び「貝合わせ」や「投扇興」も体験でき、無料の簡易十二単体験コーナーも用意されているため、お子様や観光客にも大人気です。

Step back in time to Japan's Heian period at the Itsukinomiya Historical Experience Hall, located in Meiwa Town, Mie Prefecture — once the sacred site of the Saikū, where imperial princesses served at Ise Grand Shrine.

In this video, Lisa experiences a full ceremonial dressing of the Jūnihitoe, a traditional 12-layered kimono worn by court ladies 1,000 years ago. The dressing is performed by two trained professionals: the "mae-emonja" and the "ushiro-emonja," following authentic Heian customs.

As a rare highlight, Lisa was also given the opportunity to hold a special fan made entirely of cypress wood, valued at around 100,000 yen. Normally kept out of public view, this elegant item made her experience even more unforgettable.

Visitors can also try out ancient court games such as kai-awase (shell matching) and tōsenkyō (fan tossing), and enjoy a free simplified Jūnihitoe experience — perfect for tourists and children.
