Here's how I made some working Spider-Man web shooters you can actually swing from! The web its self is made from 3 strands of kevlar cord with a mini grappling hook at one end. The actual web shooter uses flash cotton as the propellent and features an arc lighter for ignition as well as an area to hold the web as it unspools during the shot. Once the web is shot it can be tensioned appropriately for the swing. The web its self clips to a harness on the users waste and features a latch mechanism to release the web when done swinging.
