Thru-Hiking the AMATOMI Trail | Day 1 – to Togakushi Campground

Join us on a 5-day thru-hike along the *Amatomi Trail*, a little-known route weaving through the Japanese Alps—from the historical city of Nagano to the summit of Mt. Madarao.

In this cinematic hiking series, my friend and I explore remote forests, stay at quiet campgrounds, soak in a lakeside sauna, and reconnect with the simple rhythm of the trail.
