Ingredients For Raan Baked Lamb ( Desi Style )

You will need a Leg of lamb
Make cuts on the sides of the meat
In a small bowl prepare the marinade with the following ingredients

🌶️ Spice Marinade :
1 Cup plain yogurt ( thick, hung or strained preferred )
2-3 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
2 tbsp red chili powder ( adjust to taste )
1 tbsp paprika ( for color )
1 tbsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tbsp cumin powder ( roasted )
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp black pepper
Salt to taste
1 tbsp kasuri methi ( dry fenugreek leaves ) optional
3-4 tbsp oil or ghee

🕰️ Marination Tip :
Score the lamb ( make deep cuts )
rub with lemon juice, then marinate with the spice mix

Cover and marinate overnight or at least 6 - 8 hours for best flavor
