Defending against a dangerous attack in the Sicilian Alapin - IM Stavroula Tsolakidou

Описание: Stavroula Tsolakidou got a fine position out of the opening from the black side of the Sicilian Alapin. But after a few moves, she made an inaccuracy that gave her opponent some excellent attacking chances. Stavroula tried her best to calculate everything but it was not at all easy. In the end, her opponent went wrong and she managed to win the game!

This game was played against Yakkubaeva Nilufar in round five of the World Junior Championships 2019.

Apart from the game Stavroula also tells us her experience of studying at the Saint Louis university and how life is after she has moved to USA.
