UDAY Express also known as Utkrisht Double Decker AC Yatri Express is a slightly upgraded version of the already running Double Decker Express which is soon going to be inaugurated between Coimbatore and Bangalore. The old Double Decker Coaches were refurbished by Integral Coach Factory (ICF) at Chennai and the rake is being sent to Coimbatore as One way Transit special from there on the train will begin its regular run.
In this video we have captured a very rare encounter that will never happen again that is both the Double Decker Trains are crossing at a scenic location. Uday and Chennai Double Decker will more or less travel one behind another between Jolarpettai - Bangalore and vice-versa on their regular runs and this crossing may never happen again and also the departure of Uday Express from Jolarpettai.
