In this video I explore some unique and fascinating radio wave propagation. I recently found footage of a 1938 television broadcast that was being transmitted over VHF in London, UK and was being received in New York City. It inspired me to talk a little about radio propagation and how it can be affected by weather. I think this is one of the most exciting aspects of ham radio, and every ham should understand the basic aspects of wave propagation...or at least be fascinated by it and open to learning more about it like I am!
