Brutal sci-fi Metroidvania set in Neo-Barcelona | Altered Alma demo

Описание: Today we're checking out the demo for Altered Alma from 2Awesome Studio. I actually backed this game on Kickstarter after seeing it in a Steam Next Fest, and in a break with my usual luck on Kickstarted games (most often ending up abandoned) this one looks like the real deal. We play Alma, a former Crusader on the run from the authorities in a futuristic Neo-Barcelona. The developers are based in Barcelona and, as if the logos in the loading screen weren't enough of a hint, they are proud of being Catalan and include many famous Barcelona landmarks in the game. There are a fair few mechanics to learn -- this is a Metroidvania, after all -- but the movement feels pretty crisp, the art is good, and there are relationship mechanics which suggest this will be more than your usual hack-and-slash experience.
