Hello and welcome to our next video
In this video we will be detailing how to install a new ground bearing concrete slab.
The basics of what is required for building regulations in order is-
150mm of compacted hardcore MOT.
-sand blinding of around 30mm compacted ( this is to prevent damp membrane for ripping on the mot)
-1200 gauge damp membrane to go over the internal blockwork
100mm pir insulation and joints taped with aluminium foil tape
-2nd layer of damp membrane
150mm thick concrete tamped and smoothed.
