Описание: Manmad located in the Nasik District of Maharashtra State and is a major Railway Junction on the Central Railway line. There are four railway lines converging at Manmad, one each from Bhusawal, Daund-Pune, Secunderabad-Manmad and the most important one from Mumbai. Manmad is a very crucial junction for all those who want to travel to Shirdi, Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Tirupati, Konkan, Marathwada and Bangalore. It is a city with a majority of its population employed by Central Railway and Food Corporation of India. Manmad houses the largest grain storage warehouses of Asia which are administered by Food Corporation of India. This station served as important inter-connection between Nizam State Railway (then Metre Gauge railway) and GIP Railway till 1948.

Manmad is also famous for its hills and forts the most famous landmark being the HADBI CHI SHENDI (Thumb's Up Pinnacle 150 Ft Tall.) and more than a 1000 year old Ankai Fort & Tankai Forts built over the uniquely formed hills which are a part of the Satpura Range.
