Stir-fry mustard greens
You’ll need one head of mustard greens. Chop it into small pieces, wash it, and blanch it for about a minute.
4 ounces of beef, thinly sliced
For the stir-fry sauce:
1 tablespoon sesame seed oil
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon MSG (optional)
2 teaspoons fish sauce
Mix everything together well.
Here’s how to cook it:
First, heat a large skillet with water. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of cooking oil. Blanch the mustard greens for about a minute, then remove them and set them aside.
Next, heat a clean skillet with cooking oil. Add chopped garlic and cook until it smells amazing. Then, add the beef and toss it around a few times over high heat. Add the stir-fry sauce and toss it again. Finally, add the mustard greens, toss everything together, and taste it to see if you want to add anything else.
Serve it with rice, and if you like, drizzle some chili oil on top. Enjoy!
