Israel's top labour union has declared it will ground the nation's economy to a halt and will not stand for the abandonment of hostages.
Thousands of Israelis have filled the streets of Tel Aviv and other major cities to demand Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reach a deal to bring hostages back home.
