Описание: It is now emerging that a poorly conducted disarmament exercise, land and 2012 politics are some of the key factors fueling the conflict in Isiolo that has claimed scores of lives in a span of one week. Residents place the death toll at 21, although official sources say 14 people have been killed. Top security personnel led by Internal Security Minister Prof George Saitoti and his Permanent Secretary Francis Kimemia toured the conflict-ridden area seeking to calm the tensions and find a solution to the problems that have put the three communities living in the county at loggerheads.
