Chapter 3 gives us a detailed account of the start of the wall building project: who did what and where. Except for a few proud elitists mentioned, all joined in to help from the smallest to the greatest. There was a warm and excited faith and bond in the camp and no doubt progress was quickly noticeable. Each had a job to do, none were jealous of the others, some in zeal even took upon themselves the responsibility of 2 sections of wall. As you read the names and the what was being accomplished by them, you can't help but think of how God builds the church in the same manner; everyone a part.
