Properly caring for a Green Horned Frog (Ceratophrys cranwelli) requires replicating its terrestrial environment. Provide a shallow, sturdy water dish for soaking and change water daily. These ambush predators are fed appropriately-sized prey like gut-loaded crickets or occasional pinky mice every 2-3 days for adults. Never house them together, as they are cannibalistic. Handle minimally to avoid stress, as they have a voracious appetite and may mistake fingers for food.
