Our goals was to build the most skateable 4 foot backyard mini ramp and I believe we have done it.
We didn't use any plans, did everything right, and built it ourselves. Thank you to all the homies who help build it! Details of the ramp below....
16' wide (full steel coping with hidden holes - we used the J hook trick)
5 foot deck on one side (bench side) and a 4 foot deck on the other side.
4' Tall
7.5' transition radius
3/4" plywood for transitions
Surface is Gatorade Skin on top of two layers of 1/2" ply.
LOTS and LOTS (cases) of Alex Plus silicone solution (semi dissolved in water and brushed on)
5 Gallons or Elastomeric Roof Costing (white)
15 pounds of Hardi Board screws for the surface
We used a 45* chamfer bit to countersink every hole.
Dozens of pavers.
