The Ghana Chamber of Telecommunications is urging persons who have genuine concerns regarding the acquisition of the Ghana card to petition the Minister for Communications and Digitalization to ensure they are not negatively affected by the sanctions on unregistered SIM cards.
Speaking to Citi News, the Chief Executive Officer for the Chamber, Ing. Dr. Kenneth Ashigbey noted that the sanctions being imposed will compel persons who have the Ghana card to register before the 30th September deadline.
