This short heritage film explores the story behind a mysterious 1939 photograph from Salford Lads Club, known as the Netball Party. The original image captured over one hundred young men gathered in celebration just before the outbreak of the Second World War.
Commissioned as a heritage film in 2019, the project reinterprets the photograph through community participation, memory, and place based storytelling.
