Toyota/Lexus 5.7L SAIS Block Off Plate Installation - All Hewitt Tech Bypass Kits

Описание: This video covers the installation of the https://hewitt-tech.com exhaust block off plates for all of our Secondary Air Injection System Bypass Kits. These are the same block off plates used for all Toyota and Lexus 5.7L vehicles, the Tundra, Sequoia, Landcruiser and LX570.
These are an integral part of all of our SAIS Kits, currently our V36, V54 and newly released Gen-II kits. These plates fit all years of 5.7L from 2007-2019 (current model year).

The air switching valves for the 5.7L vehicles are still currently behind the engine/intake manifold so we install the block off plates at the exhaust manifold air tube flanges. You will see in the video the easiest way to access this location is to remove the front wheels and go through the fender.

The block off plates are needed with the bypass kit to prevent the air switching valves from leaking exhaust and causing valve stuck open codes. Regardless of which bypass kit you are using from us it is recommended to always install them so you don't have to worry about it later or misplace them if you need them later.
