The building authority has filed criminal charges against Unik Constructions and its director Pratheepan Saravanapavan.
They are being prosecuted under the Building Act 1993 for serious breaches, including faulty subfloor ventilation, incorrect windows, unsafe veranda pillars, and a non-compliant garage width.
We found out about this after filming the video, but it confirms everything we exposed.
This is no longer just about defects. It is now a criminal matter.

This $900,000 home dropped to just $175K after major defects were uncovered. The certifier approved it without key compliance certificates. The builder lawyered up and sent his own inspector who claimed everything could be fixed for ~$7,000. The insurance company quoted over $80,000 just to cover part of the repairs. Then the council gave the family 30 days to fix it or vacate. We weren’t buying it, so we paid the builder a visit and uncovered one of the most shocking property investigations we’ve ever done.
