Coupling solid oxide electrolysis to ammonia production

Описание: LSB Industries has announced various decarbonization projects for its existing facilities in the USA, including CCS in El Dorado (Arkansas) and electrolysis-based hydrogen production in Pryor (Oklahoma). At Pryor, a dual-technology approach will be pursued, with 20 MW of alkaline electrolysis capacity to operate alongside a 10 MW solid oxide electrolyzer, with the latter electrolysers to be provided by Bloom Energy.

To discuss the Pryor project and the opportunities on offer, the AEA's Kevin Rouwenhorst spoke with Jakob Krummenacher (Director of Clean Energy, LSB Industries) & Rick Beuttel (Vice President of Business Development, Hydrogen, Bloom Energy).
