Friends, let me ask you a question…

We proudly say India is a 75+ year-old democracy.
But do we really have political power in our hands?

All of us vote.
But in these decades of democracy — who has actually ruled?

This question was not asked today.
More than 40 years ago, a simple man raised this question.
That man was Manyawar Kanshi Ram Ji.

He explained a powerful truth about Bahujan society.

Who are Bahujans?
SC, ST, OBC and Minorities — together nearly 85% of India's population.

But when it comes to political power and governance,
the dominance remains with the 15% Manuwadi elite.

Why is it that in nearly eight decades of politics, the 85% majority is still missing from real power?

That is why Kanshi Ram Ji gave the historic slogan:

“Jiski Jitni Sankhya Bhaari, Uski Utni Bhagidari.”

Meaning:
The greater a community’s population, the greater should be its share in power.

Unlike many leaders who only speak about the pain of the oppressed,
Kanshi Ram Ji created a strategy to transform that pain into political strength.

His famous words still echo today:

“Political power is the master key.”

Without political power:

Quality education cannot be guaranteed
Jobs cannot be secured
Social dignity cannot be protected

To change society, Bahujans must come to power.

Babasaheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar gave us the Constitution and fundamental rights.
But he also warned:

"Rights alone are not enough — we must capture political power."

To achieve this vision, Kanshi Ram Ji built powerful organizations:

• BAMCEF
• Dalit Shoshit Samaj Sangharsh Samiti (DS4)
• Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP)

These organizations were not temporary movements.
They were part of a long-term Bahujan political strategy.

With discipline and cadre building for nearly 20 years, Kanshi Ram Ji prepared the movement before entering electoral politics.

This strategy eventually led to Behen Mayawati Ji becoming Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.

This was not just an individual victory.
It was a historic demonstration of Bahujan political power.

We are not victims.
We are the majority.

Bahujans should not beg for representation.
We must organize, gain power, and govern.

Today people talk about startups and entrepreneurship.

In many ways, Kanshi Ram Ji was the founder of a political startup.

Without:

Media support
Corporate funding
Emotional populism

He built a movement through cadre funding, grassroots organization, booth-level mathematics, and social coalition building.

SC + ST + OBC + Minorities = Bahujan Power

Today many call this Social Engineering,
but for Kanshi Ram Ji it was simply using the realities of caste to unite Bahujans for political empowerment.

Through this strategy, Bahujan ideology transformed Indian politics.
