Описание: The Sherwood Rise Tunnel was a disused railway tunnel in Nottingham, part of the Great Central Railway. It opened in 1898, was approximately 665 yards long, and was closed in 1968. Constructed from sandstone with a brick roof, the tunnel's northern end is now buried and the southern end is infilled. A public walk follows the path of the former railway line, which is now a conservation area.
