The Congress party is set to hold an important meeting ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. Chaired by INC chief Mallikarjun Kharge, the meeting will focus on key issues including the election manifesto and the selection of the remaining candidates. So far, the party has announced 82 candidates in two separate lists. The spotlight will be on the Uttar Pradesh seats, particularly Amethi and Raibareli, which are strongholds of the Gandhi family. Questions are also being raised about whether Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will contest the elections and if Rahul Gandhi will be fielded from Amethi.
