Finally the sun broke out and the North Cascades began to reveal their true glory! Diablo Lake and Washington Pass Overlooks were stunning! Left Colonial Creek Campground and drove east on state route 20. Hiked the gentle Happy Creek Trail and Rainy Lake Trail; even a speck of the Pacific Crest Trail. Spectacular ride down Washington Pass! Camped for the night in the forested Klipchuck Campground.
