Описание: The 1960s, you could still see a lot of steam locos in use in Germany until the end of that decade and even beyond. In addition to the pre-War Reichsbahn series 01 and 03, there were still a few examples of the Bavarian S3/6 and the Baden IV h. In the 1950s and 1960s, many 01 locos were modernized in both the Federal Republic of Germany and the GDR, and quite a few were equipped with new boilers, even oil firing. In any case, this resulted in a pleasing increase in performance even with coal firing, but even more so with oil firing. The pre-War locos were almost as good as the newly developed Class 10 of the Deutsche Bundesbahn in the mid-1950s which reached a nominal power of around 3000 hp.
