In this video we present the technique ryote-dori tenchinage.
We explain the principal movements and show potential mistakes in a funny way at the end.
Also called the “Heaven and Earth” throw, this technique starts from a double handed grab.
The Heaven ("ten") and Earth ("chi") hands move around the direct strength of the attack. This movement allows to take the balance of the attacker, connecting into the center line from the top and from underneath his center.
There are variety of ways to practice this “uprooting” technique: more or less direct entries, adding circular movements, etc.
