In a utopian society where synthetic humans are conditioned to suppress suffering, a grieving son begins developing mysterious illness that claimed his mother's life. As the condition spreads and every diagnostic system insists he is perfectly healthy, he is forced to confront a painful legacy buried within his family. What he discovers challenges everything he believes about humanity, loss, and the cost of living without pain.

🎬 Director’s Statement:
This film was very personal for me to write. It allowed me to confront some very tough questions about my own life and relationship with my family. I enjoyed the world building elements and the high tech gadgets that would surround the characters but wanted the story to feel extremely focused on Eric and his relationship with his father. The futuristic setting played part as a backdrop and allowed me to explore the metaphor of mental illness represented through physical symptoms that one would feel compelled to hide from others.
