Alex Dimitrov reads Allen Ginsberg's "I am Not" and "Personals Ad" as part of ABFFE's, PEN's and Housing Works' celebration of Banned Books Week 2013. Paradise Banned: Poetry Readings from Banned Books was held at Housing Works Bookstore and Cafe on September 30, 2013.
Ginsberg's Collected Poetry was removed from the Murray County High School library in Georgia (1989) and challenged at the North Central High School library in Indiana that same year. Other Ginsberg poetry collections have been banned as well.
