MNS leader Sandeep Deshpande has raised objections to Form 6 in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process and questioned the Election Commission. He argues that voters whose names are already on the electoral rolls should not be asked to submit Form 6 again. The MNS has approached the Supreme Court, seeking a stay on Maharashtra’s SIR process until Form 6 is revised and appropriate directions regarding forms already submitted. Deshpande has also levelled allegations against the BJP and the election machinery.
