OBSTA Obstruction lighting for broadcast 150M high to more than 300M high.

Описание: As per ICAO recommendations, unpainted towers higher than 150 meters may need to be lit with a high intensity lighting system.
This concerns broadcast towers more than 300 meters high as this example shows. Due to their great height, they are a major concern for air navigation safety.

OBSTA obstruction lighting offer a solution for the illumination of high broadcast towers, including a complete set of obstruction lights with communication capabilities.
Our CAN controller supplied with the lights allows for full control of the entire system at the bottom of the tower and also via a remote internet connection.

Where an antenna is 12 meters higher than the last level of high intensity lights, an additional top white light of medium intensity should be added.
The standard night mode is a flashing white light, however in certain circumstances it is possible to operate during the night with a flashing red light as an ICAO medium intensity type B light, or a fixed red light as an ICAO medium intensity type C light.

The power converter of the top light is usually installed just below the ante nnas where electromagnetic fields are lower

On the upper platform, if the diameter of the tower is less than 6 meters, 3 high intensity lights oriented at 120° shall be placed around the tower.

Each high intensity light flashes white, and operates during the day, twilight and night with 3 steps of light output from 200 000 candelas during daytime reducing to 20 000 candelas during twilight and finally reducing to 2000 candelas during the night.

As before, night mode can be a flashing white light, a flashing red light or a fixed red light.

Other levels of high intensity are fitted every 105 meters maximum, and have the same configuration.

At the bottom of the tower, a calibrated photocell wired to the controller should be mounted upright, away from artificial light, and in a location that will enable its sensor window to have an unobstructed view of the sky. If the installation is in the northern hemisphere, this should be pointed towards north.1.32At the bottom, a controller allows for the maintenance, the configuration and the administration of all the lights wired through one single 3-core control cable. This controller displays for each light the status of the led circuit, the operating mode, the humidity and the temperature, allowing a precise diagnostic of the complete system from the ground and also via a remote internet connection.
