Описание: Tomosaburo Okano (born 1922) was a Japanese karate master and a direct student of Gichin Funakoshi, the founder of modern karate. He also trained under Funakoshi’s son Yoshitaka Funakoshi, who helped develop many dynamic techniques of Shotokan. Okano was a member of the Dai Nihon Karate-do Shotokai, the organization created to preserve the original philosophy and spirit of Funakoshi’s karate. Through his training and dedication, Okano became part of the early generation that carried traditional Shotokan and Shotokai teachings to future karate practitioners.
