Muchkundi Dam (Khorninko Dam) is Constructed on the Muchkundi River. This Holy River has been named after the great Muchikundi Rishi(sage). The Famous Khorninko waterfall has been named after the Khorninko Village located at the base of Waterfall.
The Khorninko is a percolation Dam so it does not have any gates. A 60-meter wide drain has been constructed to carry the excess water. This drainage helps the water to flow at a slower rate.
