This video documents a summer train journey in July 2025, taken by my wife and me, traveling from Szczecin to Wrocław in Poland.

The story begins at Szczecin Główny, where we board a train heading south toward Wrocław.
Although the scheduled travel time was about four hours, the journey ended up taking nearly five hours.

During the trip, I share some honest impressions of traveling by Polish train in midsummer — including the lack of effective air conditioning and the slow speed of the train, especially when compared with Japan’s Shinkansen, which could cover a similar distance in 90 minutes or less.

At the same time, the video focuses on the changing scenery outside the window, showing rural landscapes gradually giving way to the more urban environment typical of Poland as we approach Wrocław.
Along the way, I also provide brief comparisons between Szczecin and Wrocław, such as population size and city area.

Upon arrival at Wrocław Główny, I film the station’s impressive arched ceiling, before we head toward our hostel.

In the slideshow section, I present photographs of Leśnica Castle as well as Wrocław Main Station, accompanied by narration.
I briefly introduce the castle’s origins, its location within the city, and the surrounding residential and green areas.

This is a slow, observational travel video focused on atmosphere, light, movement, and real moments.
The narration is calm and minimal, allowing the journey itself to take center stage.
