After approx twenty years of trying I finally completed Midway's football fighting sim masterpiece, 'Red Card'! I've always thought it would be pretty far out to have an intergalactic football tournament against aliens and now you can see what this would be like, because winning the Earth World Cup is actually only the qualification stage for the Galactic Finals vs the Martians and the Cyborgs from Negiseti...
In the 2002 World Cup, Italy had Croatia, Mexico and Ecuador in their group and in this play through face USA, Germany, Brazil and France in the knock out rounds. Brazil and France can be quite a challenge(!), so I had to use every trick in the book and then also had to hit them with the book.
Originally released on Gamecube, Xbox and PS2, this version is a rip of the GC disc, played on Dolphin in 60fps widescreen. I've got it running beautifully in 4k, but my video capture here is currently limited to 1080p.
