Welcome to an enthralling artistic adventure! Join us as we recreate "The Evening Star" on canvas in this timelapse film.
To give you all a sense of what goes into these steam locomotive drawings, I decided to show you all a making-of-movie at 32x speed while I continue to draw the BR Standard Class 9F 92220 Evening Star for my next historical video.
The Evening Star was the 999th steam locomotive ever manufactured by British Railways and the very last one to leave the factory in 1960. Although the class 9F Evening Star had operated with great success, they were all obliged to be decommissioned within 8 years of the Evening Star's construction due to labour shortages and rising coal costs.
